Haircare Advice Wins

Hullo, my Pixels!

This post pairs up with another one I did a little while ago, which was haircare advice fails. I thought it only made logical sense to do a more positive and more helpful 'wins' version, as I know some people would find that useful, so enjoy!
  1. "Brush your hair starting from the bottom and work your way up" I saw this in a recent Tanya Burr video where she said it was good for people who have really knotty hair, and surprisingly it actually really helps. My hair is so much easier to brush if I work from the tips to the roots, rather than trying to drag the brush though my super-knotty hair.
  2. "Don't wash your hair everyday" This has changed my hair so much. It's the simple things in life, hey? I love this so much as I'm super lazy, so now with the assistance of Batiste Dry Shampoo, I can go without washing my hair for about three days. Three days! My hair is so much less greasy because of it, and it requires less effort, so a win win situation me thinks.
  3. "Use a quick leave-in conditioner" I bought a spray leave-in conditioner on the recommendation of my cousin - specifically the Schwarzkopf Hair Repair Liquid Silk and I like it quite a lot. She knows I'm too lazy to bother with my proper leave-in conditioner on a regular basis, so a quick spray of this is perfect for me. Plus, it smells really nice, which I enjoy. I'm glad they do this in a spray aswell, because I loved the scent of the normal conditioner but it wasn't fantastic for my hair, so this is a better way for me to still get the same nice smell in my hair.
I hope you enjoyed these little handy tips, I feel like I definitely learnt something when I first found out about all of these things. The world and internet is so great, it's always so simple and quick to learn something new!

  2. Same! If I forget to start brushing my hair from the bottom up, it hurts so much more. ♥

  5. Brushing your hair from the tips to the roots is actually a game changer aha! Sooo much better for your hair rather than just trying to drag the brush through
